Combining a love for the game of golf and artistic endeavors, Neal Meagher's childhood dream of becoming a golf course designer began with a degree in landscape architecture at Mississippi State University. After Several years with two multi-disciplinary design companies following graduation, he was offered a position with the prestigious firm of Graves and Pascuzzo in California, studying for 12 years under two former presidents of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

During this time, Meagher planned over a dozen courses as well as numerous redesigns in every conceivable environment. He eventually earned the title of Senior Golf Course Architect with the Graves firm, additionally guiding Johnny Miller and Sam Snead through several joint-venture designs.

Early in 2000 Meagher left Graves and Pascuzzo to found his own golf design firm. In conjunction with the beginning of Neal Meagher Golf Design, he set out to make a study of classic courses around the world, fully digesting their strategic arrangements and salient features for incorporation into his own work.

Now with more than 25 years of experience to draw upon, Neal Meagher and his staff are committed to designing layouts with the timeless excellence of Golden Age courses, in this modern era of stringent planning and environmental challenges.
